winter trends

Can you believe half the year has already blown past? It has gone so quickly. These past weeks I have been noticing a real shift in fashion and trends. It may be because winter is upon us but you can never really understand why a trend becomes a trend. However, these items have become so popular and if you are looking for something to add to your wardrobe, any of these would be a worthwhile buy.

ONE: khaki, black, grey and neutral colour palette.
Even if you have been living under rock, I'm pretty sure you would still be able to know about this massive khaki, black, grey and neutral trends. I think these colours are very basic and natural and easy to style.

TWO: boots
Boots have a signature place in winter. No matter what the trend, you will always see people rocking the ol' boot. This winter, the big chunky and 'worker' boots have been spotted a lot. They are especially being rocked with ripped denim and black jeans.

THREE: knits, turtle and roll necks
A major item in every girl's closet this winter should be a comfortable and trendy knit. Turtle and roll necks have especially become very popular. In addition, combine your favourite knit with this winter's signature colour palette and you will look fab-u-lous.

FOUR: hats
A bit of a strange item for winter but still very in trend. Although you want to be rugged up for winter, Australia's winter still has the sun shining bright. The floppy hats are such a cute accessory for any outfit.

FIVE: gold accessories
Silver is long gone and forgotten, gold is in. Gold necklaces and bracelets compliment any outfit and look very classy yet trendy. Not to mention, watches are beginning to appear on many girl's wrists, becoming the star of any outfit. A watch can make you look smart, fashionable and sophisticated.

Hope you all have a great week
